This project required our dual language wayfinding expertise (Arabic and English) for which we have developed a clear structured process. A key outcome, aside from the functional aspects, is to ensure that all terminology and artwork are deemed culturally appropriate. Key personnel from the MSD team based themselves at the client office in Istanbul, ensuring effective collaboration throughout.
The new Terminal at Muscat International Airport will be complete in 2014 with the capacity to handle 12 million passengers annually. Further expansion plans aim to boost the capacity to 48million passengers as demand increases.
